こけしとは？？
こけしとは郷土人形の一つで、東北地方を原産とする。
木地挽きで円筒状の胴に丸い頭をつけて簡単な描彩を
施して女児の姿を表している。小芥子這子・小芥子人形・
木ぼこ・木でことも呼ばれている。またぼこ（小児・
子供のこと） （広辞苑より）
What is the Kokeshi ??
For reference Kokeshi doll is a one of the local doll from the home
in north-eartern district of Japan.
It is a globular head put on cylindrical body and with simple colorand
express a girl figure.
We can be said Kokeshihaiko,Kokeshi-ningyou,Kiboko,Kideko, and
Boko(an infanto, a child) (by Koujien Japanese-Dictionary)
こけしの材料
ミズキ、イタヤの木が主に使われこれらの材料は秋の彼岸が過ぎて樹木の活動が
停止する頃を見計らって切り倒されます。
２Mの長さに切って約半年間自然乾燥させます。
Materials of kokeshi doll
Materials of kokeshi are giant dogwood , Mizuki, Itaya, and so on.
There wooden materials are cut down after stopping their activities when
the autumn
equinox has passed.
Hard tree is suited for Kokeshi.
鳴子こけしの特徴
前髪を含めた頭の描き方は、鳴子こけしの特徴のひとつです。
次に胴模様、写実的で色々な形の菊を描きます。当店は主に大輪菊を描きます。
頭ははめ込み式で首を回しますとキィキィと鳴ります。
鳴子こけしの特徴を全体的にいうと清楚ともいえる感じで初々しい山の娘の
雰囲気がにじみ出ております。
Characteristic NARUKO Kokeshi
One of characteristic of NARUKO Kokeshi is a paint of front hair of head,
second is a
pattern of girth around the waist. The design is realistic and to draw
big chrysanthemums.
The third is a sound of neck. When you turn the neck of wooden doll, it
isounds like
"kiki" or "kyukyu".
Totally saying characterstic of wooden doll, it is neatness and clean and
still more looks
an atmosphere of daughter in the mountain, to the smell of NARUKO spa.
